Thinkfactory Media creates and produces high quality entertainment in a variety of genres for the global marketplace. The company’s goal is to always push the boundaries and expand its versatility by delivering superior content to our network partners. What sets Thinkfactory apart is the ability to produce in all genres including: features, documentaries, mini-series, branded entertainment, concerts, music specials, movies of the week, hybrid shows, and unscripted series. COMPANY HISTORY

Thinkfactory Media (www.thinkfactorymedia.com) is a full-service production company that creates high quality entertainment content.  Based in Los Angeles, the company was founded by Emmy-nominated Producer, Leslie Greif, and is one of the only production companies that has created and produced award-winning programming in virtually every genre for television including:  features, unscripted series, documentaries, mini-series, branded entertainment projects, concerts, music specials and various movies of the week.

Thinkfactory Media was the driving force behind three night mini-series event, Hatfields & McCoys (History), which has become the television sensation of the decade, making cable television history on night one with over 17 million people tuning into the premiere and encore telecast.  All three nights of the mini-series rank as the top three entertainment television telecasts of all time in ad supported cable history among total viewers.  Starring Academy® Award winner, Kevin Costner and Golden Globe® nominee Bill Paxton, Hatfields & McCoys dominated the ratings and averaged an incredible 13.8 total viewers, 6 million Adults 25-54 and 4.9 million Adults 18-49.  The 4.9 million Adult 18-49 impressions average make it the highest rated mini-series or movie on cable since 1998. In addition, Thinkfactory produced a two-hour documentary on the history of the Hatfields & McCoys which also aired on History along with a one-hour behind-the-scenes/making of mini-series that debuted online.

In addition, Thinkfactory has produced content for all major cable networks including A&E, History, Lifetime, TLC, TV One, VH1, WeTV, among others.  They are currently in production on the seventh season of “Gene Simmons Family Jewels” for A&E, which now holds the title for longest running celebrity docu-series in television history.  They’ve produced over 140 episodes of the series and most recently the show garnered its highest ratings with the Royal Rock Wedding of the decade, when rock legend, Gene Simmons married his longtime girlfriend, Shannon Tweed.

Other recent accolades include producing Prank My Mom, a special which was the highest rated show in the 10 PM timeslot in the past two years on Lifetime; Mounted In Alaska which was History’s highest rated new original series in 2011; and WeTV’s second highest rated premiere in the history of the network, Sinbad: It’s Just Family.  Thinkfactory is currently in production on a number of other series and pilots across a wide variety of networks including the recently announced, R&B Divas (TVOne) starring the Grammy Award Winning recording artist, Faith Evans.

Other television producing credits include produced, Chasing Mummies(History) Unleashed: K9 Broward County (TLC), Operation Wild (Planet Green), Tony Danza: Teach (A&E), Eddie Griffin: Going For Broke (VH1), Battleground Earth: Ludacris Vs. Tommy (Planet Green), Rookies (A&E), Kissteria (A&E), Dogg After Dark, a celebrity talk show featuring Snoop Dogg (MTV), as well as 65 episodes of Lifetime’s Intimate Portraits.

Under the newly minted Thinkfactory Films banner, the company is developing two high profile feature films: Pound for Pound, is based on the F.X. Toole acclaimed novel which Ron Shelton will direct from a script Thinkfactory Founder, Leslie Greif wrote with Dennis Quaid, Samuel L. Jackson and Chris Brown are slated to star. Grief also wrote and directed, Sleeping Around, an independently financed comedy starring Wendi McLendon-Covey (Bridesmaids), Michael McKean (Spinal Tap, Best in Show), Tammin Sursok (Pretty Little Liars), Virginia Williams (How I Met Your Mother), Bryan Callen (The Hangover), among others.

Thinkfactory Media is expanding in new areas with the launch of Thinkfactory Branded, a new division of the company that will focus on the creation of branded entertainment properties.
