Adam Freeman is president of creative at Thinkfactory Media, overseeing creative direction for all company projects, including long-running series and event specials, spanning a wide range of genres.

Freeman joined Thinkfactory in 2006 as an executive producer, showrunner and director on A&E’s Gene Simmons Family Jewels (of which he executive produced/showran more than 150 episodes). During his tenure at the company, he’s been integral in building and shaping Thinkfactory’s production and development slate, executive producing many of its biggest hits – including 12 seasons (and counting) of WE tv’s Marriage Boot Camp franchise, as well as spinoff Mama June: From Not to Hot, which debuted as the highest-rated series premiere in WE tv history.

He is also executive producer on Lifetime’s My Great Big Live Wedding with David Tutera – the first series of its kind, spotlighting America’s most deserving couples’ incredible journeys to the altar, with each episode culminating in the live broadcast of their nuptials.

Freeman’s other Thinkfactory credits include: WE tv’s Million Dollar Matchmaker; TLC’s Married by Mom & Dad; TV One’s R&B Divas franchise; Lifetime’s Preacher’s Daughters and Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge & Michel’le; Weather Channel’s The Donner Party; AMC’s 4th and Loud; go90’s #Preached; and A&E’s Teach: Tony Danza; among others.

Prior to Thinkfactory, Freeman spent 11 years at MTV where he produced more than 800 episodes of the network’s iconic Total Request Live, as well as three years of the star-studded MTV New Year’s Eve Live.

In 2003, Freeman became the youngest showrunner in syndication, producing FOX’s live hybrid talk/entertainment news show On Air with Ryan Seacrest. He went on to showrun a string of successful series including The Chelsea Handler ShowNick Cannon Presents Wild n’ Out and the live finale of R U The Girl, among others, before shifting into creating and developing content for various networks, including This is Why You’re Single for TLC.

Freeman is also a stand-up comedian, performing regularly at the world famous Comedy Store, as well as an acclaimed comic book writer, having written for established series and characters, such as The X-Men, The Authority and Batman, as well as original works including the ongoing series Genius, The HighwaymenMonster Attack NetworkHero Complex and The Nightwatchman.
