Oxygen Media is expanding its development slate with five new projects aimed at young women. They include Dead Clean about a female clean-up crew handling messes no one else would dare tackle; House Of Black Diamond following the lives of six members of the most decorated drill team in California; Start Me Up, a competition series focusing on raising money through online crowdfunding; Swipe For Love about using social media to match potential couples in front of a live studio audience; and The Ultimate Relationship Test, a competition series where couples wager money on each other’s abilities to win a variety of challenges.
“Inspired by millenials who express themselves and their ideas in innovative and diverse ways, these five new projects reflect Oxygen Media’s commitment to sharing fun and meaningful stories that resonate with our audience,” said Cori Abraham, SVP of Development & International, Oxygen Media.
Here are details of the project:
“House of Black Diamond” (working title)
Produced by Thinkfactory Media, LLC with Adam Reed, Adam Freeman and Leslie Greif serving as Executive Producers.
“House of Black Diamond” follows six members of a successful drill team who live under one roof. Hard work, dedication and comical personal politics push this team to new limits as they fight to retain their reputation as the most decorated drill team on the West Coast. With multiple competitions each month, the road to success isn’t easy, but this group has the heart, talent and drive to reach new heights.
