Edward Hansen is manager of unscripted development at Thinkfactory Media.

Edward joined the Thinkfactory ranks in 2016 and has helped develop unscripted projects for a variety of cable networks, including History, A&E, Discovery, E!, Vh1 and TLC. Most recently, he was part of the development team that ushered in Lifetime’s My Great Big Live Wedding with David Tutera.

Hailing from a family business background, Edward made the leap into television in 2013, starting out as a writer’s assistant on E!’s late night talk show Love You, Mean It with Whitney Cummings, before earning his comedy chops as a writer on VH1’s sketch comedy Stevie TV.

Prior to Thinkfactory, Edward co-hosted and co-produced World of Wonder’s digital series #AfterShow, alongside RuPaul’s Drag Race star Trixie Mattel.

A Los Angeles native, Edward is a Boston College graduate. He’s fluent in Spanish and The Real Housewives, and has a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. When he’s not busy developing reality TV, he’s watching it.
