DIRECTOR, UNSCRIPTED DEVELOPMENT
Molly McRoberts is the Director of Development at Thinkfactory Media, and has a passion for all things pop culture. Her focus is on creating innovative reality TV formats as well as finding original talent to anchor projects.
She joined the Thinkfactory team in October 2020, meaning her coworkers only knew her has a box on a Zoom screen for many months. She’s looking forward to working with her team to sell many successful series and eventually working together in person so she can prove that she has legs.
Starting her career on the production side at Endemol Shine North America, Molly transitioned to creative development while working with an EP where they sold pilots to MTV, Lifetime, FYI, and YouTube Red. She went on to continue her work in creative at GRB Entertainment and Atlas Media Corp before landed at FBE – a highly successful YouTube Channel. Here, Molly branched development between digital and traditional linear content. Eventually becoming Director of TV Development and heading the department, pilots were sold to E!, Paramount Network, Disney Channel, and Amazon.
A San Diego native and UC Santa Cruz graduate, Molly loves all things reality TV. She’ll happily do the “homework” of watching the good, the bad, and the ugly of what’s currently on air.
