Growing a tradition of high-profile world premieres, the Mip-TV market has set a debut screening of Texas Rising for its upcoming April event. The series is produced by A+E Studios and ITV Studios America, in association with Thinkfactory Media for History and is distributed by ITV Studios Global Entertainment. The first episode will be screened in the Grand Auditorium of the Palais des Festivals on April 13. The eight-part series details the Texas Revolution and the rise of the legendary Texas Rangers. Directed by Roland Joffe, it stars Bill Paxton, Brendan Fraser, Ray Liotta, Olivier Martinez and Kris Kristofferson and has a May start in the U.S. on History.
